I'm a Safety Girl

Came across this slideshow created to highlight the importance of Child Seat Safety.  Specifically, the video underscores the importance of keeping kiddos in a rear-facing seat as long as possible.  It seems this montage was made by a caring family member to share with his/her sister, but I'm happy that it has reached many more eyes.  There is no sad tale to tell, rather it is a cautionary tale, a pre-emptive, educational tale.  I found it to be a powerful reminder of how important it is for us parents to be mindful of safety and to make informed decisions to that end.  I think I was so moved because of the images of Madison.  Now that I'm a parent I find myself relating to other parents in ways I never could before, caring about children more than I ever have before.  It is so easy for me to imagine my own daughter's face in this video and that really struck a chord with me.  And so....
